Are you looking for a more effective method to control your blood pressure?
Join us for AIM HY INFORM Clinical Trial. You can make a difference.
The objective of the AIM HY programme is to provide the best medicine for the individual suffering from hypertension. Since people of different ethnic group respond differently to high blood pressure medication, we are focusing on individuals of African/Caribbean and South Asian ethnic cohorts as these are UK’s highest ethnic minority. If you are of this ethnic background and would like to find the best medication for your high blood pressure, you can enquire about our Clinical Trial: Contact the Research Nurse closest to you:

Trial participant:
“Having entered the study after a short spell in hospital and asking the question of why I am medicated based on Caucasian research, I couldn’t have been happier to know that after the research program I would have finally be offered a medication that was most suited to me as an individual. All the staff on the study were so lovely and helpful and I always felt at ease, and most importantly knew that I was helping shape the future of people who suffer from hypertension. At the time I had a very busy job and although I could attend most of my pre-booked appointments, for the days that I had business clashes, Jane was very accommodating. I was enthralled to learn more about my health and actually having a monthly medical was very comforting. Previously having been prescribed 2 of the drugs I’d never really thought about the various side effects that I had suffered from. In my eyes, I was just told to take this particular medication by my GP. There was never any bedside manner with my GP and even with the difficulty in finding my veins to take blood, I was always made to feel comfortable on the study. If I can be of any help in the future, please do not hesitate to contact me and thank you for your time and giving me comfort in finding the best suitable medication.”
